• Ancestry.com takes DNA ownership rights from customers and their relatives (Medium) There is a saying about the internet, "If it's free, you are the product."  The DNA test is not free, so I think that the first clause needs to be deleted.
• California Authorities Are Failing to Track and Prevent Abuse of Police Databases (Truthout) Cops are stalking ex-girlfirends, using the data in custody disputes, etc.  Live in obedient fear, citizen.
• Sorry, you can’t protest security screening by getting naked for the TSA (Ars Technica) This should be obvious.
• Google Following Your Offline Credit Card Spending To Tell Advertisers If Their Ads Work (Consumerist) They claim that it's anonymized, but with 2-5 data points, you can identify an individual.  We need regulation and vigorous antitrust enforcement.
